Question
If someone delivers food from a supermarket to a customer and a cake among the other goods is called Medeira Cake Happy Birthday, is it allowed to deliver it? It isn't known whether the customer is celebrating their birthday, or whether they just like the taste of the cake and only bought it for that reason
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad (
) is His Slave and Messenger.
If the situation is as described in the question, then there is no issue with delivering that cake to the customer, and such delivery is not considered as assisting in the celebration of birthdays or anything similar.
